Kristin Fisher has joined CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent team in July of 2021. She covers all aspects of space, starting with NASA, the Space Force and commercial space companies to the advent of space tourism. Kristin has a background in the field of space as the grandchild and daughter of NASA astronauts. For the last five years, she has been covering space policy under the Biden and Trump administrations in FOX News. In addition to covering two impeachment proceedings against the president as well as the 2020 Presidential Campaign and the two administrations' attempts to curb the coronavirus epidemic Kristin also covered a variety of other topics. The reporter also went on numerous journeys with the President and Vice President as well as a secret visit to Afghanistan with former President Donald Trump. Kristin was a local television reporter for Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., in which she was awarded the Emmy Award for her work as a "one-man-band" reporter before being hired by CBS in 2015. Kristin started Field Mouse Films with her expertise behind the camera in 2014. The company specialized in creating documentaries for corporate clients such as Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin earned her Bachelor of Science Diploma in Journalism from Boston University. She lives with her husband in Washington, D.C., and she has a 3 year old daughter.
